THE FIRST LAUGH-OFF FOR CANCER HELD ON JANUARY 15, 2015, IN CHICAGO WAS A REMARKABLE EVENT
All of us at the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation would like to thank everyone who attended and supported our inaugural Laugh Off For Cancer that was held at American Junkie in downtown Chicago on January 15, 2015. The venue was packed and everyone had the opportunity to enjoy an evening of laughs thanks to the performances of the cast from The Second City, Tom Papa and many of the Cubs’ players. Our emcee, Brody Stevens of “Chelsea Lately”, was sensational and DJ Dante had the place rocking. Together, with the help of these performers and the support of many sponsors and the generous donations of those in attendance, we raised $140,000 at this event. This will surely put a smile on the faces of the children and their families that are battling cancer who will benefit from these proceeds. Thanks again for taking part and helping us “Knock Cancer Out Of The Park”!
